ABOUT
TILEA® is a company with deep roots – our story started when the great-grandfather of current co-owner built the largest textile-producing factory in the former Hungarian Kingdom back in 1896.
Another line of our pedigree leads to the famous Povazske Strojarne (established in 1929 under different name), a large industrial complex that underwent thorough re-organisation in early 1990’s.
Over time, our product range developed into textile floorings and we started to specialize in textile architecture and sports surfaces, which was the most dynamic and interesting market for us.
Nowadays, with enhanced shareholder group we have offices in Wroclaw, Poland; Prague, Czech Republic and Povazska Bystrica, Slovakia where our production is located as well.
The 125-year tradition obliges us to think long-term. Therefore, the quality and long-term relationship with the client is more important than immediate profit.

Our clients and partners include major European football teams such as Juventus Torino and Atletico Madrid.
We also build playgrounds and air domes for European football academies and clubs such as Akademia Reissa, TEAM Gliwice, or FC Olympijski. Especially we appreciate the cooperation with the currently best Polish youth football team, the Academy of KGHM Zaglębie Lubin (among others the winners of TILEA CUP 2019).
However, this does not mean that we are dealing with less smaller clients or small projects. We cooperate with a number of local clubs and small municipalities – every client is a king for us.
